AYTA Plus Golf Scoring

Each 9: net score = gross strokes minus its share of the entered playing handicap. Split handicap equally, with an odd extra stroke on Front 9 (17 gives 9 front and 8 back). Lowest net wins: sole winner +5 points; two tied winners +3 each; three or more +2 each. These bonuses require valid scores for every player on that 9 and valid handicaps. Assumed par defaults are included; bonuses are provisional while any remain. They are added to round points and payouts.

For every pair, stroke allowance is half the difference between entered playing handicaps, rounded down. Only the higher handicap receives strokes. A difference of 15 gives 7 strokes on indices 1–7; a difference of 1 gives 0.

Pair-adjusted score = gross minus strokes received against that opponent. Each pair is calculated independently; there is no shared round baseline. Allowances above 18 give strokes on every hole, then the remainder on the lowest indices.

Multiplayer prototype assumption: one hole-win point goes only to a player who strictly beats every other player in their pairwise matches. If nobody does, no hole-win point is awarded. Birdie and Sandy par bonuses remain independent.

Enter whole-number playing handicaps from −54 to 54. This app does not convert Handicap Index. Stroke indices must contain each rank 1–18 exactly once. Gross scores start at the hole’s par where known. Assumed par defaults are included in totals and comparisons; use − / + or type to enter a score. Existing entered scores stay preserved when changing courses. Unknown pars stay blank. Pars can be edited (3–6) and saved with course profiles. Gross scores must be whole numbers 1–30. Totals include entered scores and assumed defaults. Invalid indices or handicaps pause adjusted scoring.

Supports 2–50 players. Round autosave and saved course profiles stay in this browser and do not sync across devices. New round keeps saved course profiles. Course selection fills stroke indices and pars; it does not convert player Handicap Index or erase scores. This is an independent prototype; Calculate payouts sends current names and awarded points to a local copy of AYTA Plus Golf Points Payout Calculator v24. The published calculator is unchanged. V24 supports at most 20 players. Points: a player who strictly beats every opponent pairwise earns 1; Entered gross achievements earn bonuses even in a tie or loss: birdie (par minus 1) +1, eagle (par minus 2) +2, albatross/double eagle (par minus 3) +3. A par-3 hole in one receives the ordinary eagle bonus, with no additional hole-in-one award. Difference 4 has no specified achievement bonus. Assumed scores receive no achievement bonus. Sandy par: check the box to certify a bunker blast, one putt, and actual gross par, for 1 bonus point. Checking confirms an assumed par as entered. Sandy birdie: use its separate toggle at gross birdie to certify a direct bunker hole-out, for 1 additional sand bonus. It stacks with the gross birdie bonus and any sole win point. Only the applicable sand control is shown; incompatible marks clear when score or par changes. Payouts are calculated separately in v24. Incomplete or invalid comparisons earn no win point; valid entered achievements can still earn their bonus.
